Why use a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant?

Before acquiring the services of an immigration consultant, it is important to understand the difference between a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and an unauthorized provider of immigration services. RCICs are required to abide by a strict Code of Professional Ethics and are certified to meet all of the following attributes:

  • Knowledgeable and informed on immigration law and Canadian immigration system,
  • Required to abide by stringent ethical and professional rules that are designed to protect consumers,
  • Required to provide evidence of good character prior to becoming RCIC,
  • Proficient in English and/or French,
  • Work with agents known to ICCRC,
  • Supported by ICCRC to enhance quality of services,
  • Monitored by ICCRC; non-compliance is taken seriously,
  • Accountable to ICCRC; complaints are taken seriously, and
  • Possess valid Errors and Omissions Insurance for enhanced consumer protection.

Application Forms are given for free on the CIC website It is also stated on the website that I do not need a lawyer or immigration consultant to apply.

It is true that forms and guidelines are given on the CIC website for free but there is no guidance on how to interpret the law for your personal circumstances. Therefore, to avoid misapprehension of the Regulations and Act, you will need an experience immigration consultant. Please contact us for more information.

I read on the CIC website through online assessment that I am eligible to immigrate to Canada. Do I need to hire or consult with an Immigration Consultant?

You may be eligible to apply to Canada using the eligibility assessment online via the CIC website. However, it is noteworthy to know that immigration is a very thorough process. If you make mistakes on your application, CIC will not help you rectify your errors; instead, they will send back your application and you must redo the whole process. Also, CIC could blame you for misrepresentation banning you for five full years if you incorrectly script information on your application. To avoid this occurrence, we encourage you to contact our expert immigration consultants.

Do I qualify for immigration to Canada?

We recommend that you complete and submit an online assessment for your eligibility for immigration, which we will evaluate at no charge.

Can you guarantee the approval of my application?

A lawyer or consultant can never provide you guarantees on your application since the immigration officer handling your case is the only one that can deliver the final decision. Therefore, we can only determine and provide you with a wide range of information so that you meet the qualifications of a certain immigration program. We cannot promise you approval and guarantees on your application. As a client, you have to be weary of any one who offers guarantees because that is a sure sign of fraud. You may end up spending your money on unrealistic promises.

Why should I consider retaining your services?

We can promise you honest and broad information. We will handle your case with personal attention, superior quality of work and representation. Our services are very transparent - we can only take applications with sure qualifications. We value your time and your money so we will not accept payment if you are not qualified.

How do you charge your fees?

Our fees are very straightforward - we have a fixed fee policy. After an initial consultation service, we will quote you a fixed cost depending on your case.

Express Entry

I was so confident that I am qualified for the Express Entry Program but when I did my application online, it turns out that I am not eligible to apply although I met all the qualifications. What is the reason of my ineligibility?

Everyday we receive queries regarding EE and most of their problems are about failed applications despite meeting the essential ranking points in the Skilled Worker Category. The reason is they missed critical points while filling up their application online; therefore, hiring an experienced immigration consultant is a good investment for your future.

What are the differences between permanent residents and Canadian citizens?

As a permanent resident, you enjoy most of Canadian citizens' benefits such as health care coverage, live, work or study in Canada, and protection under Canadian law and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. However, you cannot vote and practice any political offices and hold some jobs that need high levels of security clearance.
